The main research areas of the department's lecturers are as follows:
- promoting generational change in the agricultural economy,
- preparing for climate change,
- widespread dissemination of agricultural digitization,
- methodological development of consultants, and
- analysing the potential of the digital economy and online knowledge transfer, as well as
- information management,
- examination of specific areas of business IT (ERP systems, IT projects, data-based decision support, GIS).
