The Department of Foreign Languages offers students the opportunity to study foreign languages in English, German and French and to prepare for foreign language examinations on all five campuses and on Szarvas Site of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Foreign students can take courses in Hungarian as a Foreign Language.
The aim of our language courses is to provide students with modern, state of the art foreign language skills which help them to achieve success in their careers.
Students with a university or college degree can enrol in specialised training programmes in which they can specialise in professional translation or professional foreign language communication.
For PhD students, the Department of Foreign Languages organises basic level institutional language examinations in English, German and French in April and December each year.
