SZIA Agroecological Garden welcomes new student volunteers

On May 6, 2025, the participants and the Hungarian and international student coordinators of the volunteer student program of the SZIA Agroecological Garden were introduced, along with, Dávid Békési, director of International Relations, and Apolka Ujj, associate professor.
The volunteer student program of the garden has been running for several years at the Szent István Campus of MATE in Gödöllő, supported financially by the Directorate for International Relations, professionally coordinated by the Institute for Rural Development and Sustainable Economy (Department of Agroecology and Organic Farming), and implemented in collaboration with the Diversitas Foundation.

Through the program, enthusiastic Hungarian and international students can acquire hands-on experience in organic farming and become part of a multicultural community operating on the principles of agroecology.

Applications to the program are accepted on a rolling basis. MATE students can express their interest by contacting sziagarden@gmail.com.
