INVITATION
SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
Dear Colleagues and previous Conference Participants,
it is a great pleasure to invite you to the Sustainability and Resilience International Scientific Conference (SRISC), to be held on April 10-11th, 2025.
The SRISC aims to focus on economic and social sciences and related disciplines. The drastic changes in the international and domestic economic environment in the past period present new challenges to the actors, requiring new approaches in the domestic and international environment designed for "normal" economic conditions.
We are looking forward to welcoming the academic and research community to MATE Károly Róbert Campus, Gyöngyös for our conference hosted by Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) Institute of Rural Development and Sustainable Economy.
The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of the challenges of the next decades in the field of sustainability and resilience.
In addition to the challenges of the future, the section's meetings focus on the most exciting questions of each scientific field, as well as the most current and challenging areas affecting the profession
Planned topics covered in the sections include:
i. Resilience and soft skills in education and the labour market in the 21st century.
ii. Sustainability and resilience in rural and regional development
iii. Data and Digital Platforms for Resilience
iv. Agroecology - what's next? - Multifunctionality in agriculture
v. Sustainable finance
vi. What next? - The challenges of resilience in tourism
vii. Innovative HRM services/The challenges of the 21st century’s first quarter in the field of human resources

Technical information:
• Participation on the conference is free. MATE provides the catering, the optional study tour and the abstracts published on-line
• The official language of the conference will be English.
• Papers accepted for the conference can be published in the relevant journals maintained by the MATE (https://journal.uni-mate.hu/)
• The 15-minute oral presentations are followed by a 5-minute discussion.
• Posters will be continuously on display in a designated hall during the conference. As they will be electronically projected, posters should not be printed out, only transmitted to our colleague via a data medium.

• Registration with abstract: 17th February 2025
• Notification of acceptance / rejection: continuously
• Conference date: 10-11th April, 2025
• Full paper is required to be uploaded by: based on the agreements with the individual editorial boards
